Luxury Asian Wedding in Granada, Spain | Carmen de los Chapiteles & Parador de Granada

There are few places in the world as breathtaking for a wedding as Granada. With the Alhambra glowing above the city, whitewashed streets winding through the old quarters and the Sierra Nevada on the horizon, it is a dream setting for a luxury Asian destination wedding.

We were honoured to travel from Manchester to Spain to photograph and film this celebration, working alongside an incredible team of local and international wedding suppliers.

Why Granada is perfect for an Asian destination wedding

Granada brings together Moorish architecture, hidden courtyard gardens, warm golden evenings and some of the most romantic views in Europe. For Asian weddings, which often span several days of celebrations, the city offers a beautiful variety of venues within easy reach of each other, from historic hotels to private gardens with Alhambra views.

The light here is something special too. The soft sunset tones against the old stone walls make every portrait, every outfit and every detail look even richer on camera.

The venues

Carmen de los Chapiteles – a carmen is a traditional Granada house with walled gardens, and this one is a stunning setting for ceremonies and receptions, with views across to the Alhambra.

Parador de Granada – set within the grounds of the Alhambra itself in a former convent, it is one of the most iconic places to stay or celebrate in Spain.

Palacio de Santa Paula – a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of the city, ideal for wedding guests and getting-ready moments.
